AMARAVATI: Tension prevailed after Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that the dismantling of present “Praja Vedika” building will start from 26 of this month as it was constructed illegally by flouting all norms. When Jagan announced this in Collectors’ conference in Praja Vedika building, the TDP leaders met at Chandrababu Naidu’s residence which is just beside the Praja Vedika building. With this development, the police deployed additional forces at former CM’s residence. Jagan also announced that demolition of buildings constructed illegally will start with Praja Vedika. The statement sent ripples among the political circles, particularly in TDP. Earlier, former CM Chandrababu wrote a letter to government that it should allocate the Praja Vedika building to them. The decision of CM Jagan came after the government received the letter from Babu.
