Vishakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has revised counselling dates to July 8 for engineering and pharmacy programmes in Andhra Pradesh-based colleges. Students can check the revised dates in the official website apeamcet.nic.in.
The counselling will now begin from July 8 as against the previous July 3. After three rounds, students will be allowed to change options on July 14.
8-9 July: Rank 1- Rank 30,000
10-11 July: 30,001 Rank -75,000 Rank
12-13 July: 75,001 Rank-Last Rank
14 July: Change of Options till last rank
16 July: Allotment
The final allotment list will be out on July 16 after 6 pm.
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on June 4 declared the AP Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) examination results. P Ravi Sri Teja secured the first rank in the Engineering category followed by P Veda and G Bhanulatha who bagged the second and third ranks respectively.
In the Medical and Agriculture stream, Sunkara Sai Swathi got the first rank, Dasari Kiran bagged the second position and Sai Praveen Gupta secured the third spot.
Approximately two lakh students appeared for the EAMCET exam and a total of 1,38,160 students cleared the EAMCET exam this year. Out of the total students who appeared, 83.64 percent students qualified for Medical and Agriculture stream while 74.39 percent students cleared the Engineering exam.
