Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council witnessed heated exchange of words between TDP MLC Nara Lokesh on one side with Ministers Anil Kumar Yadav and Adimulapu Suresh on the other.
The altercation broke out with Lokesh making some controversial comments against Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Both Yadav and Suresh hit back at the TDP leader asking him to refrain from making scurrilous allegations against an individual who was not present in the Council at that point in time.
Leading the YSRCP’s offensive, Yadav took a dig at Lokesh pointing out that the latter should better get himself trained in his mother tongue, Telugu. He said Chandrababu Naidu and his TDP had crouched before the then home minister P Chidambaram to foist false cases against YS Jagan. Continuing his tirade, he said YS Jagan and YSRCP had won a huge mandate from people without any alliances, while recalling that TDP always won only because of coalitions it had with different parties. He added that Chandrababu Naidu had backstabbed NT Rama Rao without any scruples to get hold of TDP.
