Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed the officials concerned to provide necessary rescue and rehabilitation measures to those afflicted by heavy floods lashing out Godavari districts.
YS Jagan, who is currently on a personal visit to Israel, is also coordinating with his office back home and also with district administrations of East Godavari and West Godavari. Officials have apprised him of the incessant rains and the excessive flooding afflicting the coastal districts.
He ordered officials to brace up any eventuality and ensure that flood-affected victims were provided with essentials. The district administrations are already providing 25 kgs rice, two litres kerosene, one kg toor dal, one litre palmoil, one kg onions and a kg potatoes.
