Chiranjeevi’s 12-year dream of making Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been fulfilled by his son Ram Charan, who produced the historic film. The period drama, directed by Surender Reddy hit the theatres on October 2 and is receiving positive talk across the world.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy opened to a fantastic start on October 2 and managed to earn Rs 32 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the opening day. The film is continuing to hold strong in theatres all over India and overseas. Word has it that the film has managed to cross the Rs 100-crore-mark in a couple of days.
In Nizam area, the period drama has earned a share of Rs 14.62 crore at the end of three days of its theatrical run. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share the box office figures that the film collected on each day. He wrote, “#SyeRaa Nizam Box office:
Day1 share: 8.10 Crs
Day 2 share: 3.98 Crs
Day 3 share: 2.54 Crs
Total share: 14.62 Crs (sic)”
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is also having a dream run at the US box office as it had successfully crossed $200k (Rs 1 crore) in the country. The film is facing intense competition in the US with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s Hindi flick War, which is performing exceptionally well at the box office.
