Labourer shot dead by terrorists in J&K’s Pulwama

A civilian was shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday in Kakpora area of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, according to police.

Soon after the incident, police cordoned off the area in Nuhama village where the incident occurred and police are currently on the hunt of the terrorists responsible for killing the civilian, who is believed to be a non-local labourer.

The development comes less than 24 hours after a truck driver was shot dead in Shopian. Reports also indicate that terrorists are now targeting civilians outside the state to disrupt normal life in the Valley.

At least two terrorists killed a Rajasthan truck driver and assaulted an orchard owner in Shopian district on Monday. One of the terrorists involved in the act is suspected to be a Pakistani national.

Terrorists have been actively trying to disrupt normal life in the Valley since the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
