Ingredients
- Chicken ½ kg (boneless)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper ¼ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- White vinegar 1 tbsp
- Egg 1
- Flour 3 tbsp
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- Oil for fry
- For Sauce:
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Ginger 1 piece (chopped)
- Garlic clove 2 (chopped)
- Green chili 2 (chopped)
- Spring onion 1 (chopped)
- Chicken stock 1 cup
- White vinegar 3 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- Worchester shire sauce 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
- Corn flour 1 tbsp (mix with little water)
Cooking Directions
- Cut chicken into strips, marinate with salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, white vinegar, egg, flour and corn flour.
- Deep fry till golden brown.
- Remove from pan and keep aside.
- For Sauce: In a pan heat oil, add ginger, garlic clove and green chilies.
- Stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Now add spring onion, chicken stock, white vinegar, soya sauce, Worchester shire sauce, salt, sugar and tomato ketchup.
- Cook till it comes to a boil.
- Thicken sauce with corn flour paste.
- Now add fried chicken and mix for few seconds.
- Dish it out and serve hot.
