Zimbabwe doctors take govt to court over lack of equipment to fight COVID-19

The Zimbabwean government has been taken to court by the Zimbabwe Association for Doctors for Human Rights (ZADHR) over its failure to provide doctors working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic with masks. “There are simply no adequate personal protective equipment (PPEs) for health personnel…We attest to the shortages because we work there,” read the court application.
