Don’t know if 3-week lockdown will be enough in India: Ex-White House official

A three-week lockdown is reasonable starting point to contain COVID-19 in a country like India, Indian-American epidemiologist Rajeev Venkayya said. Venkayya, who was Special Assistant to President for Biodefense at White House during George Bush’s administration, however said it’s difficult to say how much more time India would require. “I don’t know if three weeks will be enough,” he stated.
