Giphy denies removing Mark Zuckerberg GIFs after being bought by Facebook

After Facebook announced it’s acquiring Giphy for reportedly $400 million, several users took to Twitter to complain that GIFs of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg were disappearing from the GIF-sharing website. Giphy’s content and editorial head, Tyler Menzel, tweeted, “Want to clarify that this is not true as we only take down content that violates our guidelines…We’re looking into the issue.”
